The situation
Day one at Aquilon Tech: one designer, one chief of staff, no marketing function. No SEO, no content strategy, no social media presence, no lead generation, no tracking that worked. The brief was to build everything.
The work
I started with positioning and copy. The website needed to communicate clearly what the company did and for whom. I rewrote it end-to-end, alongside establishing the LinkedIn positioning that would anchor the brand's professional presence and provide a channel for organic reach.
The inbound engine has several components running together. Lead magnets to capture interest from people not yet ready to have a sales conversation. An Instantly-powered outbound sequence running in parallel. SEO content implementation and technical SEO for long-term organic visibility. LinkedIn ads campaigns targeting specific audience segments. PR for brand credibility. A website redesign that simplified navigation, not for aesthetic reasons, but to make tracking accurate and optimisation possible.
The 400% growth in qualified discovery calls happened over six months. The two moves that made the biggest difference were the lead magnets and the navigation simplification. The navigation change sounds minor but it transformed data quality and made it clear what was actually working.
The way I manage the full spread of channels — SEO, GEO, performance, content, email, PR — is through a layered AI agent system. Individual agents are trained on specific marketing functions. Above those, a second layer is trained on client data and internal context. These run simultaneously. I have also hired an SEO executive and an Ads executive, both of whom manage their own agent workflows. Project management agents handle check-ins and task tracking. The system scales without adding headcount.
The results
Full marketing function built from zero: SEO, GEO, performance, content, email, and PR all running.
Multi-layer AI agent infrastructure deployed and operational, with two executives and their own agent stacks.
What I took from it
A marketing function built for leverage looks completely different from one built for headcount. When you are building from scratch, you have no choice but to get the architecture right.
